Sarah Palin broke her silence Wednesday morning releasing this statement in response to the Arizona shootings, and accusations that she is somehow connected or responsible. A text version of the statement can be found on her Facebook page.
Palin made sure to call out the media on their “blood libel,” and reminded Americans that in this country, when tragedy strikes, we band together. “America must be stronger than the evil we saw displayed last week,” she concluded. “We are better than the mindless finger-pointing we endured in the wake of the tragedy.”
